last week we were given a lecture by Eric sui who introduced the amazing
digital camera "Touchy" to us and shared us with his experience around the world which inspired him a lot.
At the beginning of his lecture ,Eric showed us a brief video in which he
performed as a human camera who is blind with the machine on his head ,so
he just sensed the world by his hands and other parts of his body.
But the sorrowful air gradualy faded away when a girl who is full of curiousity appeared. She was glad to touch "Touchy" and felt delighted when
she recorded the things around by touching the “Touchy".
May be we would have different opinions after we enjoyed the sight of video,but
defintely we would be touched by the idea conveyed .
During our daily life,we somewhat have given up the realistic way to sense the world. It even become more and more difficult for us to have eye-contact or
getiing touch on body. Should we blame it on Internet or technique completely?
The answer is ambiguous. Since we have in the imformation time , making full use of what we can have is reasonable. Technique can become a henge ,such as
invented world . On the other hand, it can be a bridge which draw people closer
to each other and provide a fresh perspective on the familiar world.
we can hide behind the mask or strech out the hand for outside. It totally depends
on ourselfs.
